There is nothing like holding a finished print in the hands and taking time to study the detail, the tonal range and the content. Film has always held a special place and I want to bring to you traditional darkroom processes but presented in a modern way, showing the darker corners of the North East of England. Shot entirely on film and hand printed, each image is unique and reflects urban life in Newcastle upon Tyne.
